Watson's Mystery Café & Spirits in Boise, ID For "The Perfect Night Out"
Watson's Mystery Café & Spirits in Boise, ID For "The Perfect Night Out"
At Watson’s, we believe that dinner should be more than just a meal—it should be an escape. Founded in the heart of Boise, Watson’s Mystery Café & Spirits was born from a passion for storytelling and a commitment to high-quality local entertainment. Whether you’re stepping into our lounge for a craft cocktail or taking your seat for a world-class murder mystery, you aren't just an audience member; you are an essential part of the story.
We are proud to be the home stage for the Southwest Idaho Performing Arts Association (SIPAA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our partnership with SIPAA allows us to give back to the community we love, specifically supporting arts education in rural Idaho schools and ensuring local actors are compensated for their incredible talent. When you join us for a show, you are helping us keep the footlights burning for the next generation of Idaho performers.
Unlike traditional dinner theaters, we don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" catering. Our from-scratch kitchen and full-service bar offer a sophisticated menu—from hand-cut steaks to signature cocktails crafted by professional bartenders.
Watson’s isn’t just a venue; it’s a veteran-owned, mission-driven destination where memories are made and mysteries are solved. ---
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we say goodbye to a fantastic man, father, friend and family member. We are saddened to say our beloved Wendell passed away Wednesday, May 26, suddenly and to all our surprise.
Wendell has been and forever will be the guiding light of this theater. He gave himself with every ounce of his body to perform to the joy of many audiences at the Playhouse/Watson's, without asking for anything in return. He would give the shirt off his back (literally) if you needed it. He was always giving, both on and off the stage. If you needed anything, Wendell was there. He was an exceptional father to his son Max ,who will always be part of our family, and a man that made you feel at ease anytime you talked to him. He will truly be missed by his friends, family, his theater family and anybody who was blessed enough to know him.
Exit stage left, Wendell; "break a leg" in that divine stage in the sky, you will be extremely missed.
Join us as as we will be dedicating our theater to Wendell. Moving forward, it will be called the
Wendell H.A. Wilson Theater at Watson's.
